Chiemgauhof in Ubersee

We didn't feel good. Last year we thought of an exception when visiting a restaurant and a condescending service staff, after we were treated rudely and irritably again at breakfast, the picture coincides with other negative experiences that we have now read here. The location is great, but the rooms are very badly soundproofed and when employees in front of the rooms discuss the weekend at 7 a.m. it sucks and seems kind of inconsiderate. Sure you can get up, get dressed and say something, but to be honest you don't have the feeling that customer satisfaction plays a role here. It's a shame, the house certainly has its charm, but we were there last time for the reasons mentioned.

Staff is extremely arrogant. A small mixed salad costs 10 € !! If you ask the staff how big the salad is you get a snappy answer. At the entrance where it says that you will be seated, you wait 15 minutes and no one pays attention to you. I've already given this restaurant a lot of chances ... but at some point the barrel overflows .... won't come here again ... and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ... the locals all know that anyway .. That Restaurant lives only from tourism.

Top Location!

Very nice hotel in a fantastic location, great breakfast buffet and food as well as very good service! The hygiene concept is implemented as an example! We can only recommend the Chiemgauhof! A real paradise for us! We would like to come again!!!

Mega location

Tiny rooms, very expensive, no AC, appallingly furnished. Worth maybe half the price they asked. One night only, will leave the next day.

The food is good. But in the upper price range. We didn't know that before. Were walking by the lake and just wanted to warm up quickly. Well, expensive pleasure. It was good anyway.

Nothing but super tasty food comes from the kitchen. Great setting. A more upmarket Bavarian experience. Highly recommended.

I'm just reviewing the restaurant which is good but definitely too expensive for what you get. You are paying for the beautiful location and the nice view. 3 stars for the food and 5 for the location makes 4 stars.

We stayed here for a wedding and loved the décor, sauna, restaurant and walks. Note: Book your taxi in advance with the hotel if you get there by train.
